Marilyn C. Wilts, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who provides individual adult, adolescent, and child confidential psychotherapy, and maintains a private practice in El Cerrito, California, located in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.   Her office is wheelchair accessible and is conveniently located three blocks from the El Cerrito BART station.  On site parking is available.

With over 19 years experience as a licensed psychologist, Dr. Wilts specializes in interpersonal, strengths-focused therapy for adults and adolescents who want help with reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and support with managing stressful life transitions, trauma experiences, self-esteem and relationships issues, and difficult life transitions.

For children who are coping with developmental, school, or home difficulties, Dr Wilts provides indvidual play or verbal therapy, depending on the child's level of development.  As parents/caregivers are important collaborators in treatment, Dr. Wlts also provides parent consultation or family counseling.   

Dr. Wilts is licensed by the California Board of Psychology, and credentialed since 1998 by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
